Edible Cells (Kosher) - OHDS
Sometimes the most memorable experiences are ones that are challenging, take a lot of time, and taste sweet. Here students applied their knowledge of cells - from textbooks, videos, photos, and actual microscope experiences - into creating edible cell models. They paid close attention to accuracy of organelle size, shape, and position. Not all cells were made out of candy. We had great bakers in the class, and creative uses of fruit.
